Victorian Winter Fair

  National Herd Development

ABOUT US..........................

The Victorian Winter Fair committee are excited to host the 4th annual National Herd Development - Victorian Winter Fair, to be held July 2017.

The Victorian Winter Fair is currently the only "major" show in Australia catering for Autumn calved cows.  This event showcases those cows that perhaps don’t get a chance to be seen, as well as showcase our industry and sponsors.

The Victorian Winter Fair is a youth orientated event held during the school holidays to allow for extra family involvement.

For the first time in Australia we saw the introduction of a separate Red Holstein show in 2014 ( run within the main show) which was very popular and will only continue to grow in size as Red Holstein genetics continue to gain popularity.

Entries of  over 200 Holstein females are expected with exhibitors to come from all over Victoria, Lower New South Wales, South Eastern South Australia and Tasmania.

Elders will host the "Winter Warm Up" Sale on the evening of Wednesday 5th July.  The sale will consist of around 35 head of quality Black & White and Red & White Holsteins.

The National Herd Development – Victorian Winter Fair Committee look forward to seeing you in Bendigo in July!!
